I haven’t been updating nearly as much as I should be. I decided to lump some things into one big post to help redeem myself as a blogger. Aside from the couple of weddings, I recently finished working on a time lapse video for The Windy Pixel. Just a quick drive through Chicago with some HDR photography along the way:

Amy and Mark’s Wedding

A few weeks ago I shot a wedding in Edgerton, WI. It was an incredibly fun wedding with tons of happy people. I don’t think Mark or Amy stopped smiling the whole time I was there, which was great for photos!

West Trip 2009

For 10 days in August I traveled through Glacier National Park and up into Canada to Banff and Jasper. We had an unbelievable time and lots of laughs. Seeing the stars that bright on a nightly basis was one of the most amazing things about it. Another thing that took me by surprise was how cold it was in Glacier in August – it got down near the 20’s at night! Justin and I brought along our panoramic tripod head that we built and gave it it’s first run. Bears were very abundant and we have a few close calls with them (nothing TOO serious, but close enough to be a bit uncomfy). All in all we saw some BEAUTIFUL parts of this continent and ended up turning the rental car in with close to 6000 additional miles from where we picked it up :) here are a few of the photos. I posted a link at the end to a slide show of many more.

Last Lifeline and The White Barries

A few weeks ago, I was asked to shoot a concert for the up and coming bands the White Barries and Last Lifeline at a bar called Memories. I’d never been there (Cicero and Montrose) and it turned out to be a really good time. Both bands, while different in style, put on a good show. Truly talented people are always fun to shoot. Des Plaines River day trip

I spent this past Sunday afternoon on the warm waters of the Des Plaines River (about 85 degrees, warmer than the air) with my good friends the Riesers. Their faces are not new to this blog, in fact they may make up half of this blog’s followers. We wakeboarded for a bit then just cruised up and down the river. Here are some images:
